However, we welcome prospective families to communicate their interest in the co-op as early as possible so that they may be added to our Prospective Families communications list. Are parents expected to teach?

As a homeschool cooperative, Beloved Community Co-op requires all parents to serve in three ways:

  1. Lead teach or assist with teaching (all families share the responsibilities for teaching & assisting)
  2. Volunteer on co-op days in supporting roles such as set-up, clean-up, and front desk duty
  3. Serve on at least one co-op committee per school year.

Beloved Parents working together in this manner enables us to offer high-quality, affordable learning opportunities, along with exciting and fun activities such as Chapel, Teen Hangouts, Mom Connects, family camping weekends, guest speakers, numerous field trips, and Open Mic! RECITE!TM nights, and much more!

Parents who require an exception due to special or unique circumstances are encouraged to speak to the co-op directors regarding special arrangements.

What is the application and enrollment process for new families?

Prospective Families are invited to attend one of our spring open house days to learn more about the co-op community. Once families have decided that Beloved Community Co-op is a good fit for their families, they are invited to complete a family application and schedule an interview with two community leaders (executive directors and/or board members). Following the interview, families will be notified of the board's decision regarding applications.

Accepted families are invited to secure their spot by submitting a family deposit, which will be applied toward the following academic year tution & fees.
