Tuition & Fees (**subject to change)

Beloved Community Co-op meets for 28 weeks each year, from mid-August to late April.

Membership Fees

Family Memberships fees per year for 2024-2025

  • $300/yr — 1st Child
  • $150/yr — 2nd Child
  • $100/yr — 3rd Child
  • $50/yr — 4th Child
  • Family Membership Fee Max of $600/year

COMMITMENTS & REFUNDS: We ask families to prayerfully consider their commitment to Beloved Community Co-op. As a cooperative, courses, teaching assignments, and supporting roles are planned for the full academic year based on enrollment and thus mid-year withdrawals or frequent absences (defined as more than 2 per semester) impact all families of the community. Barring extenuating circumstances, registration to Beloved Community Co-op is a weekly family commitment to the community for 28 weeks of our academic year. Membership fees are non-refundable and should be paid in full no later than January of the school year.


Registration Deposit

The Registration Deposit is $50, which is applied toward your family's annual Membership Fees. This deposit must be submitted to reserve a family spot.

Additional Fees

Other fees and expenses that families can anticipate include:

  • $100 — Co-op Supply Fee/per family/per year. 

  • $16.95+ — Safe Hiring Solutions (SHS) background check. Background check fees are paid directly to SHS. The basic background check is $16.95, but there may be additional fees charged by SHS for individuals who have moved in the last 7 years or require more expansive background checks.

  • Upon acceptance, new families must complete the background check & Youth Protection Training before they will be able to register their children for classes. Background checks and Youth Protection Training must be renewed every 3 years.

  • Other Fees: Laboratory fees, field trips, class-specific fees, and cost for materials such as books, are excluded and billed separately as they arise, based on the classes your children are in.


Drop-off 

Beloved Community Co-op relies on the shared, cooperative efforts of all parents involved. Therefore, BCC is not a drop-off program. However, a limited number of families may be allowed to request a drop-off option due to extenuating circumstances. If a family requires a drop-off option, they must first submit a request to the directors. If approved, drop-off Membership Fees are $1,800 per year.


Payment Options

Barring extenuating circumstances, registration to Beloved Community Co-op is a weekly family commitment to the community for 28 weeks of our academic year. Membership fees are non-refundable and should be paid in full no later than January of the school year.

We do not want finances to be a deterrent to participating in Beloved Community Co-op! We also offer the following options: 

  • Payment Plans are available.
  • A limited number of sliding-scale scholarships are available based on financial need.
